Working Hours: Days, Afternoon, Midnights, Monday-Friday, Sunday-Thursday, and Tuesday-Saturday.  Based on assigned desk.
    KEY REQUIREMENTS
DUTIES:Back to top - Performs extensive research of a wide variety of criminal and general investigative records. - Processes highly sensitive and confidential FBI records. - Prepares a synopsis of research finding detailing the conclusion. - Establishes liaison/contacts with counterparts and officials in other local, state, and federal agencies, private industry, and public resources. - Utilizes electronic informational resources. - Analyzes information found to determine relevance, significance, and applicability of records of special concern. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Back to top Qualifications for the GS 11:  Applicant must possess one year of SE equivalent to the GS 9 grade level.  SE is as follows: - Researched various sources to determine relevance. - Maintained confidentialty of sensitive information. - Prepared written communication clearly and concisely. - Orally communicated operating procedures to staff and provided training to lower-level employees. - Analyzed sensitive records to determine course of action to take on releasing information. Please make sure your specialized experience/requirement(s) can be identified in your resume. Education may be substituted for Specialized Experience (SE) the GS 11 grade level as follows:  Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
