The Cumberland CBOC offers primary care with an emphasis on health care prevention. It features Primary care services for veterans in Greater Cumberland area. Located in the mountains of Western Maryland near the borders of West Virginia, Virginia and Pennsylvania, Cumberland is a short drive from Washington, DC (130 miles), Baltimore MD (130) and Pittsburgh, PA (100 miles). Whether it is biking along the Great Allegheny Passage Trail, exploring the local art galleries, catching a show at a local theatre Cumberland, Maryland give you a better "Quality of Life".

The VA uses a "PACT" Patient Aligned Care Team approach to care. It provides accessible, coordinated, comprehensive, patient-centered care, and managed by the primary care provider with active involvement of other clinical and non-clinical staff members. We offer the latest in Tele-Medicine to include, Psychiatry, Podiatry, Retina, Dermatology, Neurology, Nutrition, Pain & Rehab. We offer a Well Womans program that is specifically designed around the medical needs of our female patients. We have a full time lab staff that draw and process lab specimens on site. We also offer rehab services with a full time occupational health technician and Physical Therapy Assistant who work in a gym area that is designed for rehab and recovery.

Your Cumberland Team consists of two Nurses, Pharm. D., Program Support Assistant, Clinic Director, Social Worker, Psychologist and other Medical Providers.

Your Schedule :
8:00-4:30, Monday - Friday
No evenings, no pager, no call, no trauma, no drama!!!

Requirements:

Medical License can be from any U.S. state (therefore, no need to purchase another one).
Board Certified -Internist or Family Practice
Computer Savvy
