*Clinical Informatics Specialists(Full-Time) at Ronceverte

Responsible for clinical related computer applications in the facility. Must interact with nursing leadership and physicians. Responsible for coordinating Information Systems (IS) departmental projects, clinical users and occasionally project managers and related vendor support personnel. Ensures ongoing success of system and user support. Responsible for implementation of assigned new applications and ongoing enhancements. Assesses, recommends and implements information technologies through research, analysis and benchmarking to provide solutions which meet the facility needs and Community Health System strategic goals. Works closely with users and project personnel to coordinate user department activities in refining, design, conversion, and implementation of new systems to meet project milestones and objectives. Competent to work in all phases of application system analysis and project activities. Complies with corporate and departmental policies and procedures. Must be able to interact with all hospital departments.  RequirementsEducation:
  • Bachelors degree in information systems or clinical degree and experience combined with project management or information systems experience required.

  • Masters degree in Informatics, Education Science, or Business/Health-related field is preferred.

  • Project Management certification and/or experience is preferred.

Experience:


  • Minimum four years healthcare experience is required to include (2) years of dedicated project, progressive leadership, and/or education experience.
