Territory Account Manager at Charleston

Tire Centers, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Michelin, North America known for exceptional customer service, has a Territory Account Manager position available in Charleston, WV.

Summary:  Manages active customer accounts and represents company to potential customers utilizing the “TC6 Sales Process" to meet customer expectations and enhance TCI’s profitability.

 Responsibilities:1.  Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services so as to provide accurate information to customers.  2.  Meet established sales and gross profit goals.3.  Evaluate customer needs to make recommendations utilizing the “TC6 Sales Process".4. Work with the Business Development Manager to transition selected accounts from Business Development Manager responsibility to Territory Account Manager responsibility.5.  Make transition efforts with the Business Development Manager as transparent to the customer as possible.6.  Schedule fleet service appointments and/or coordinate appointments with the service department.7.  Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and customer questions, and ensure that customer casings are handled appropriately.8.  Deliver tires to customers as needed.9.  Solicit new clients – through cold calls, organizations, referrals, etc.10.  Maintain company property in accordance with established standards.11. Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with results, cost analysis, benefits and recommendations.12. Sell company supported products and services.13. Prepare periodic sales plans and complete call reports following established procedures.14. Attend assigned sales training and continually work to improve sales skills.15. Occasionally assist with specific tasks within the center (eg, maintaining inventory, moving/stacking tires, etc), as requested by center manager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:1.  High level of product and service capability knowledge.2.  Ability to understand and implement the “TC6 Sales Process". 3.  Ability to interact professionally with customers, making mutually beneficial recommendations.4.  Good time and territory management skills.5. Good problem solving and communication skills. 6.  Portrays a high degree of professionalism through dress and demeanor.7.  Ability to overcome obstacles and still maintain a professional presence.8. Working knowledge of WORD and POWERPOINT. 9. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company policy on driving record. 10. Must have good business savvy skills.11. Must be able to work as a team.

We are looking for professional sales people with proven results. Candidates must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills and at least three years of outside sales experience. Tire industry experience required.
