About the Position:
Works under general supervision. Work is done independently using extensive knowledge of administrative requirements to plan and carry out the work and resolve administrative and clerical problems within the Branch. Work is assigned on a continuing basis, in terms of general requirements, priorities and suspenses. Work may be reviewed for technical soundness, appropriateness and conformity to policy and regulations.

Works under the Branch Chief, Operations Division, Technical Support Branch. Manages the administrative requirements of the Branch. Monitors timely accomplishment, review, submisstion and distribution of correspondence, reports and other documents. Prepares responses to Congressional coorespondence; evaluates non-technical suggestions; maintains time and attendance and labor cost records; manages Administrative Guidance for Operations Division; manages files in accordance with regulations; maintains a suspense file for the Branch. Provides navigation support by maintaining records; completes vacancy justifications for approval; maintains personnel data on employees; maintains or coordinates internet web sits; purchasing agent for small purchases. Budget Assistance - gathers narrative and statistical data needed for budget formulation; pull monthly budget reports; assists in monitoring and controlling budget execution.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: assisting with property accountability activities for inventory of expendable and non-expendable property; projecting and estimating fiscal year allocations of contractual and non-contractual commits and obligations; coordinating travel arranges with appropriate elements, ensuring that available resources are efficiently utilized; and monitoring and maintaining ongoing overview of the offices financial situation.
