Sodexo has a need for an entry level Registered Dietitian with 0-2 years of experience (registry-eligible candidates will be considered) to provide nutrition care to variety of patients. The successful candidate will:

• Be responsible for a variety of patient units.
• Potentially serve as a Preceptor for dietetic interns.
• Be involved in monthly team meetings with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform regular test trays, meal accuracies and patient rounds and conduct quality improvement projects as part of the clinical team.
• Be self-directed, organized and a team player.
• Be able to develop rapport with the medical staff.
• Work with the Clinical Nutrition Manager to provide exemplary care to patients, staff and the community.
• Be able to provide weekend coverage (every other weekend: first day in-hospital coverage and second day on-call).

Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 1 years work experience in health care including
hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term
care, retirement homes, or clinics, meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
